Female leopard
Jawai hills@Rajastan, India
She just came out its laid after leaving her one month old cub behind.Hence she is very watchful
Jawai is a unique rocky hill where humans & leopards cohabit with out any issue
The locals even consider the leopard as a family deity & dont mind if their cattle gets picked up ny the leopards
The slopes are steep & it is a real adventure to scout for leoaprds ,while zipping along the stepp slopes , driven by local ecpert drivers

As far as critique goes, I really like the way the shadows come out from the legs and start to converge. I would like to emphasize that, perhaps by removing that small rock and letting the shadows complete their path. I like the shadow cast by the animal on the background.

Another idea would be to see if you can lighten the inky triangle of shadows in the background. In my view the only shadows that should be totally without detail are small areas where two things meet, like ground and body. Otherwise a large area of detail-less black draws the eye too strongly.

I'd maybe crop up a little from the bottom.

Thx Bill for oyur valuable advice !

Wonderful shot! I like her wary watchfulness and you caught her in mid-step.

To me, the upper part of the image is overly bright. Perhaps try a diagonal gradient adjustment to tone down the brightness in the upper left corner above the cat. Then brighten her face just a bit, especially the right side of her face/eye.

Nice photo (slightly soft)

I like the narrative of this photo .

I always enjoy narratives like in Mark Smith.
