Hi, The image was taken a couple of years ago a in Southern Scotland. It was at a commercial hide rental location by a river and where the birds came regularly to feed. There were various perches near a favoured fishing spot and visits were so frequent you got to know patterns and behaviour. In this case this individual seemed to favour fishing from one perch then going back to different one to devour the fish. I pre- focused at a point en route from the favoured fishing point and the perch and used a fast shutter speed to stop the action.
