Over the Beartooth Pass from Red Lodge Montana to Cooke City Montana if and when the Pass opens in June is one of the most beautiful drives one can travel.

My brother lives 20 miles north of Red Lodge Mt and a trip up and over the Beartooth is always included in the visit. If we add in the Lamar Valley of Yellowstone it’s definitely a bonus.

Nice photo!! Back in 2014, I rode a Harley to Red Lodge, then rode the Beartooth on to Yellowstone. It's an amazing ride! Big time fun, fun memory.
I disliked the Yellowstone, that land is not stable and the sulfur smell is unpleasant, but I spent a full day there. Time to go back and ride it again. 3700 mile ride., total

First time in Cody, Wy, we went into an outfitters shop, buying some t-shirts etc & got to talking. The individual we were talking to asked what we had planned for the afternoon before leaving for Yellowstone the next morning. Not having anything specific he remarked “have I got a deal for you”! You have to take this drive - some of the best advice we ever received! Absolutely outstanding as all the photos attest. Anyone going to Yellowstone, I& you can fit it in your plans, it’s marvelous.
