Sunrise over the Thames Estuary

Pictured yesterday (7 Nov 2020) D500 Tamron 18-200mm 1/320 f6.3 ISO 200 not much done in post processing.

In the haze towards the upper left side you’ll see The Maunsell Forts. They were armed towers built in the Thames and Mersey estuaries during the Second World War to help defend the United Kingdom. They were operated as army and navy forts, and named after their designer, Guy Maunsell.

Hi Red,
Lovely image, interesting detail on the Forts,
I can also see the wind turbines in the back ground - are they on land or built into the water?
Thanks for sharing,
Gavin

Thanks for your reply. The wind turbines are also set in the water, it is quite a large bank of turbines.
