I have experienced that half-dark/half-bright phenomenon only once (SW of San Antonio, 13 years ago with an iPhone). Remarkable photo, Nimi!
Thank you! I've shot this scene, from this perch a thousand times, and never got this tonality. New, very high DR/mp camera and maybe the best 28mm lens I've ever used. Leica Q3 which is a fixed-length rangefinder-style camera.
