Thank you Bill. Your kind words are much appreciated!Tom, very nice capture!
Nice. You make the Salton Sea look so inviting! Hope you took a quick dip!!! Were you in area for burrowing owls? I hear they exist in numbers down there near the SS.
It’s a crazy place! Wouldn’t swim in it, that’s for sure. Lots of birds though. Yes, burrowing owls among them.Nice. You make the Salton Sea look so inviting! Hope you took a quick dip!!! Were you in area for burrowing owls? I hear they exist in numbers down there near the SS.
Are the owls easy to find? we get down to So Cal periodically so is it worth trip out there as in I will likely find the owls??It’s a crazy place! Wouldn’t swim in it, that’s for sure. Lots of birds though. Yes, burrowing owls among them.
Thank you for the info!I’ve also seen them right on that Sinclair Rd. There are irrigation canals alongside the road and I see owls on the berm between road and canals.
Sure thing! A great spot for Soras and Rails is close by. Head north on Garst Rd off of Sinclair and take it to the dead end. If you sit and wait a bit, these birds often are feeding in the marsh on either side:Thank you for the info!
Thanks Morgan.Very nice shot.
