Spent a glorious morning yesterday & saw the first pair of swans land on a private lake I'm fortunate enough to be able to visit.
Then a second pair arrived & all hell broke loose & I was fortunate enough to witness it.

Very beautiful photo, the power and purpose suggested by the bow wave implies potential reasons for the swans action. I wonder if it could be cropped in any closer? Might help to emphasize the water action. Perhaps a slightly letter box aspect ratio to include some wake behind? Maybe include more of the reflection? A little trial and error to balance out all the considerations. It’s a very small detail but I would remove that little spot above the swan, very minor distraction. The exposure looks perfect, no clipping on those beautiful white feathers. It’s a very cool image, with loads of implied story.
