That looks like a promising lens.

I used an E-mount copy. Nothing to write home for wildlife, but it is such a versatile beast for portrait, travel, and astrophotography. The newer Samyang is slightly better at least in the IQ department. Most user complaints about the lens are about the weight - which is nothing when you have done wildlife.
Over 2 lbs !! Not sure I need F/2 but range is interesting
I'll rent to test. I like the 24-120s, not love. I want to see separation, oof transition, color, contrast, breathing. I'm sure it's plenty sharp; Tamron knows zooms.

I don't own this lens but did use it on a few occasions, It's a fabulous lens, and the image quality is top-notch, the focal length is perfect for wedding and event photography.

Very exciting, likewise would want to rent before purchasing. 82 mm front element, but if IQ, color, contrast, VR, etc. are good…

it seems similar in spirit to the nikon 24-120 f4. be interesting to see how they compare
Much more glass. Hoping it does better.
