This photo was taken at the end of the day (D500 + 300 PF f/4 + TC-E 1.4 III), at f/8, 1/320, ISO 320; no cropping.

BEAUTIFUL! I'd say the only minor thing to do is reduce the area to the left of the photo. About to the left side of the light area. I have no facility with layers, angles, cloning, or megaframmises, but I'm sure someone will give you hints on how to tone the light area down.
 
Thank you so much for your advice; here is the result; me to, I am not familiar with layers, angles cloning...??? I changed only the format from 2x3 to 8x10.

Great shot! like mentioned above very little post work and you have a great photo, I might try bringing the highlights down just a little bit. (there is a slider for that)
 
Thank's a lot Gordon! Highlights are already in the negative; I think now we obtain a better contrast of the heads with the background?
