This extremely small fly is probably a midge --

What detail! I think you told me before, bellows, but please refresh my memory on lens type?

That was taken with an Olympus M10 ii with a 7Artisans 60mm macro lens. I used one or more extension tubes, but I can't remember which one(s); no bellows because I don't have one. I cropped the original to the square format and compressed it for this post.

Thanks to all for your comments. As you can probably tell, I really like macro photography: there are subjects everywhere, some of which are as beautiful as any bird or mammal; no travel involved; no $12,000 lens needed; the gear is light and fairly inexpensive. But I also enjoy photographing birds and large mammals -- call me fickle.
