Beautiful bird. It's just as pretty as the Gavia Immer (Common Loon) that we have here.

Thanks Rassie! Being new to a DX sensor and its capabilities and quite useless at
postprocessing i dont really know what to expect from pics straight from the camera.
Yes, good looking bird indeed but usually hard to get close to, this one was an exception as i
managed to sneak in to about 50 yards.
