[Midnight Wolf]

I completely forgot to post this. I spent the morning at the Effie Yeaw Nature Center in California. It was a really quiet day and I almost gave up, however I decide to hit one last trail, which led me to this shot. She darted out across the trail and caught a ground squirrel in mid air, then munched on it while keeping a weary eye on me the hawk flying overhead. 500mm, F5.6, 1/500, ISO 640 on a monopod w/ wimberely gimbal.
