Juvie Lanner Falcon just klapped a Cape Turtle dove at Nossob hide in the Kgalagadi Transformer Park. Klapped is an anglicized Afrikaans word that migrated into SA English. It means smacked, like with the open palm. Note the seeds spilling from the crop. D4; 600 f/4 + 1.4 TC, f/7.1, 1/2500, ISO 640, -1 EV, 18:33, no sun
