There's a pretty farm about 10 minutes' drive north of my home. Every year I go in the fall to get an image showcasing the fall colors. I also happened to shoot an image of the same place in winter. Quite the contrast.

Both images with Nikon Z6 and Nikkor 70-200mm F4.

Beautiful! Think about doing a spring shot with the trees just leafing out and a summer shot in all its greenness. I did a photo essay of one tree through the seasons and was very pleased with it. That may be well worth trying on the scene in those two photos.

Rassie, it’s just one home run after another for you. Great shots! Those are really exceptional. I love ‘em.

Thanks, Woody. I guess watch this space........ :)

Both are gorgeous photos Rassie. I especially like the fall version. Fall can be so beautiful - pity it brings on that white stuff in the second photo (states that woman who had to deal with a blizzard of a life time last year that dropped over 100 cm of snow in her driveway and which took a week to clear) :)

Thanks, Kathy. I feel for you - the Atlantic coast typically gets much more snow than Ontario does.
I have spent most of my life in Ontario and always away from snow belts - Toronto, Sudbury and Windsor (the latter city was somewhat immobilized with 10 cm of snow, lol). I have never seen as much snow as I have in Newfoundland. Exacerbating the issue is the humidity and temperatures that hover around 0 which makes the snow like cement. Not fun at all. The best is when it begins to rain after dumping 30 cm of the stuff!

I agree...get the other 2 seasons and then print and hang all 4 side by side or collage them together.

Thanks, Neil. I'll plan for that. In the meantime I haven't forgotten I owe you some comparative images. Should have it for you by the weekend.

Thanks. I got a couple last evening from somebody. Erasmus Koos was the name in the email or was that you? He sent a couple of hummers but more to evaluate would be good if he’s not you. I see from another reply that Koos is you...thanks.
