Every year I talk about heading to the Palouse in spring or late summer to take photos, but never get across the mountains to do so. Very beautiful image.

It's definitely worth the trip over and the best place to shoot from is Steptoe Butte at Sunrise or Sunset. We usually went at the end of May or early June.
