Last summer I was sitting in a garden chair in the backyard with the camera trained on the hummingbird feeder when this rabbit came along for lunch.
It was so tame that it came very close and squatted in a flower bed to enjoy lunch. I just had to make a couple of images. This is a very slight crop, I took a little bit off the top and left edges for composition. I didn't need to do much editing here either.

At another time the chipmunk also came for lunch.

Koos, great wildlife in your garden, nice images too. We have hadidas - do you want some? ;) šŸ¤£
Thanks, Callie.
Hadidas, yeah, I know them well. No thanks.
My late uncle used to say that those birds are afraid to fly. As they fly along and they look down at the ground, they go Nyaaaaahh, Nyaaaaah in terror. šŸ¤£

Love the backyard wildlife captures! We are currently overrun with squirrels, chipmunks, rabbits and even a coyote as they prep for winter. I should try for a few shots. Maybe this week!

Thanks, Steven. Not sure wifey is too impressed, though. The rabbits do damage to shrubs in winter when they strip the bark off, and the other critters (rabbits perhaps included) dig up and eat all the wife's tulip bulbs.
Yeah, I know what she means there. We cannot keep tulips for more than a week or so and the rabbits get them every year lol
