My apologies for the poor image quality of some of this footage. The shooting conditions on some days could not have been worse - full sun, strong backlighting, high winds, and terrible heat shimmer coming up off the water all day long.
The two nests I was shooting were 400 and 500 feet away respectively and way beyond the practical reach of my equipment so I had to digitally enlarge some of the footage to the point of causing serious degradation. Please try to ignore the image quality and just enjoy the behaviours of these endearing little birds.
