Not one from this year but back in 2021 from a visit to Aviemore in Scotland. Just looking over and processing some older images, using the latest versions of LR, PS etc. as through some unexpected circumstances I currently have some time.

It is a tight crop but TBH even full frame the bird wings and tail are chopped, it was that close on the D500 cropped body.

I wanted to try and link the “look” of terror on the fish with the determination of the bird to get off with the prize..

That's really an excellent image, Gordon. Though it looks more like instant death than terror with that talon through the brain. Glad you re-processed and shared this one.
