I am starting a dedicated thread for the Sony a1MK2. We can use this place to share experiences, ask questions and share results using the new a1MK2.

I received my preorder on launch from B&H but immediately left for the holidays. I was able to set up the camera today and I have it mirroring my a9III. The menus are similar to the a9III with a few added or missing ones mostly driven by the difference in sensor design.

I’m going to take it out for 5 days of shooting next week down on the gulf coast of TX. Hope to have opinions to share at that time.

Yup hasn’t left the house but next week I’ll get some good time with it.

I think I'm probably going to head out next week to a local park as well - right now, it's packed with kids and families, after the 1st, it'll be better

I’m going short eared owl hunting and see what ducks and song birds are around south Texas and the gulf region.
