Well, I would like to tell some harrowing tale of how the wasp was going after the beetle and a narrow escape. That would not be the truth though. I was actually photographing the goldenrod soldier beetle when the wasp landed on the flower. It was there a second or two, crawled to the backside of the flower and flew away. Still an interesting photo though. Kind of a predator and prey thing.
