The Z 70-200 lens is still a great lens for wildlife

I took these photos while on a trip in Vietnam and Cambodia. We were at a monastery, and there was a small group of monkeys up in the trees, in relatively dark and shady conditions. I had the 70-200 lens with me, and snapped a few quick shots. The little baby with transparent ears was pretty far away, so the final image is heavily cropped and a bit sharpened in post (unedited version included). I rarely use this lens for wildlife, and the images really surprised me. Anyone using the 70-200 these days, given all of the longer alternatives?
