We spotted a 2 year old tigress in the late evening near an evacuated village called Jamni. She emerged from nowhere and stood on the path right in front of us. Then she passed by nonchalantly, giving us a piercing look.

Thank you Callie... A tiger's stripes are its most distinguishing characteristic. No two tigers have the same stripes. Like human fingerprints & DNA, their stripe patterns are unique to each individual. Stripes range in color from light brown to black and are not symmetrical on both sides of the tiger.
