Timing for Sitka/Alaska

Hi all, looking for advice on a possible trip to Alaska, around Sitka. It is for 2025, not this year. The trip dates would be 22 July - 1 August. My question is whether that's a good time for marine wildlife (esp. the humpbacks and orcas) and for bears. Any help appreciated!

Perfect period to go there.
Only the Grey Whale will be gone then, but every other species will be there.
(Tip: go by Zodiac with a biologist that’s the greatest way to do Whale spotting)
Bears will be attracted by the salmon runs (peak season then!) so you’ll have plenty opportunities.
