Too Good to Be True?

I usually can sniff one of these out a mile away, but this one is different. An ad appeared on ebay for a view camera I've been looking for. I had sold the same model 15 years ago to fund a D2x and have always regretted it. This one appears pristine and the price is almost too good. The ad clearly stated to e-mail and has been removed by ebay several times for obvious reasons. I figured what the heck so dropped an e-mail. The story I got back went as follows. Guy closed his pawn shop and moved to Spain. Camera is in storage in FL. He asked for my shipping info after which he says he'll prepare an ebay invoice to use their protection plan. I've not heard anywhere that can be done. Parts of it seem legit but.......
So, what are the potential pitfalls? Is there a way I can get the item to inspect before paying? Kinda like COD (COD max is below price)

GOT MY ANSWER, IT'S FRAUD! Same font ad appeared again this morning only it had a different set of photos and different item location. Reported again. I can do this all day, you put up an ad, I'll have it taken down!
