Topaz Photo AI and auto upgrade

I got an email offer from Topaz Labs for a discount for setting up Auto Upgrade for Photo AI. They offer a discount for setting up auto upgrade (credit card) before the price increases soon. Did others get this and do it? Any thoughts?

Sorry if this was already discussed, I did a search and didn't find it.

Mine expired in September and I don't recall getting that email. You can keep using it, you just won't get any upgrades. I'm going to wait for the next bigger update and then renew my subscription.

I have an active subscription but that is kinda the norm. When you “buy” you get a permanent license and 1 year of updates where it will prompt you to install the update. After a year it will leave you with where you are and you can re-up your subscription to get more updates. So the only offer I got is for Video AI which I only have a small interested in doing.

I’m on the ‘buy’ plan and see there’s an update available to 3.2.2… thanks for the reminder!

No notice about Auto Upgrade offer, must be for subscription customers.

I did. My Topaz Photo AI subs expired in August this year. The first two weeks they emailed me reminders and after a month I started getting similar discount offers.

I have used Photo AI since the very first version and have come to the conclusion that It hasn't significantly helped me in my photography. It was 2/3 years of subscribing to something that promised more than it delivered (IMHO). It was time to let it go. I'm not renewing my subscription.

This offer from Topaz is to join auto renewal for your Photo AI updates. My Photo AI updates expire in November but if I choose to auto renew I can save about $35. They won't charge my credit until my renewal date in November. I will just need to remember to turn off auto renewal if I now longer want to update my Photo AI.
