Trees at Myakka

Nothing grand like most of the nice shots in here, just a shot of a cloudy morning scene at Myakka River State Park in Sarasota, FL. Something about the two trees caught my eye.

Myakka is a special place. I visit every time I am in SW Florida. It’s one of the few remnants of “Old Florida.” The moss covered live oaks are impressive. I’ve tried and never been able to get a photograph that captures the beauty.

Another place I always visit is Snook Haven, east of Venice. Quaint BBQ restaurant on the Myakka River.

Thanks. Never been to Snook Haven (or Venice, FL.) It looks a little like a nice seafood restaurant up here in Palmetto, the "Sea Hut." Both are my kind of places, thanks for informing me. I may drop by there if I'm in the area. 😋
