I tried a tripod I wasn't sure about but I was pleasantly surprised at how sturdy it was. How smooth the ball head was. I mounted a Wimberly Sidekick to it and I like it. A good bang for the buck. It's a fotopro x-go max. Carbon fiber. It does have a center column but it's tall enough without extending it at all that I've never had to raise it. I can get it down to about 18 and 1/2 in. It has a 26 lb capacity and I'm sure that's what helps with the sturdiness. It only weighs slightly over 4 lb. It's not a top of the line pro quality tripod but it's not a cheaply made knockoff either. It's been very effective when I've used it. With the tripod and the wimberley sidekick it cost me right at $550.
