Anxious to try out my newly acquired 500mm F/4, I took a drive through a residential neighborhood that is known to have lots of deer. This photo was taken through a wrought-iron gate and the fawns were approximately 80-100 yards away from the car (hence the heavy crop). I don't usually do square crops, but this was an attempt to "squeeze through" the bars on the gate. If you look closely on the left and right sides, you'll see the blurred edges of the bars. Overall, I'm happy with the way it turned out, considering the circumstances.

Nice photo. My only problem is the top left fawn has on my monitor a bright area just left of his left eye and right of the shadow that keeps drawing my eye away.
