Ubiquitous quarrelsome noisy & beautiful Gippo

Egyptian Goose, Alopochen aegyptiaca, Kolgans ~ As per the tread, these guys have attitude, and they are also spreading across the globe. Because they are so abundant ~ nearly any water pond in SA may sport a pair, they are often shunned as not worth photographing, very much like the common myna. But they are good for panning, action and great BIF images when the light is right.
These images are from Zibulo Hides, Mkhuze GR and Lonehill in Gauteng. D3S; D4; D800 and D850 with either the 400 F.2.8 + 2x TCiii or the 600 F/4 + 1.4 TC

We have them here also in a park. The population has grown fast over the last few years.
