After updating my Z9 with FW 4.0 my settings re the usage of GPS were overridden. GPS was put to off. I suspect the update to have had this effect, as it happened with both my bodies. Anyone having encountered similar problems?

Yes, had the same. GPS was switched off.
I also had the shutter sound at a pretty loud level after the upgrade. Didn't find anything else that changed.

I had some custom button settings for AF change eg AF set to 3D, AF button set to Custom Area C1,.
After V4.0 AF changed to C1 same as AF Button..
