Used Nikon D850 with more than 400k actuations Is it worth buying it?

If you would like to post, you'll need to register. Note that if you have a BCG store account, you'll need a new, separate account here (we keep the two sites separate for security purposes).

One thought about studio work is that it might have been less likely to have been dropped or in difficult field conditions. Or bounced around.
I think maybe you can go to Nikons repair website and enter the camera’s serial number if you know it and get a price estimate for various types of work.
I don't have a d850 so I can't speak to shutter life.

If it’s in good nick and the price is right, shutters are cheap.
Agreed. But I am still trying to figure out what they were shooting in the studio to rack up 400k. BIF, sports or concerts I can understand, but that seems like a lot of shots for studio work. Still, as you noted, shutters are not too expensive to replace.
