Using the Z8 with 180-600mm lens and Auto Capture Closest Distance?

Hi, looking for some info on using the Z8 with 180-600mm lens and Auto Capture.
Am I correct in that the nearest distant for this setup is approx 3 meters to infinity.

I believe it's 12 meters at 600mm for the minimum. Using the formula in the photography life article of 20x focal length gave me 3.6 meters for 180mm.

Minimum focus distance is ~4' (1.3m) at 180mm, 8' (2.4m) at 600mm. So it depends on what your focal length will be.
