Vibration Reduction Nikon Z camera's on or off?

Hi, is there a good reason to set off VR when travelling camera in the camera bag, in a safari jeep going from one point to the other? Is there a chance that the IBIS get stuck or damaged when it's left on?
Or Turns it automactic off.

I believe that when you shut the camera off, the IBIS system locks down for transport. I would just make sure the camera is off during transit. If you hit the power button when you pull the camera from your bag, everything is ready to go before you lift it to your eye.
