Viewing the Focal Point in NX Studio

I can only see the FP when the camera was used in LIve View mode. It shows for both the jpg and raw files. I cannot see the FP when the camera is not in Live View . Can anyone out there explain to me why the FP is not showing when the camera was used in AF-S mode

For the photos in which you can’t see the focus indicator in NX Studio, are you able to it in playback on the camera? If you can see it on the camera it should be viewable in NX Studio.

I rarely use live view and focus point shows up OK in NX Studio with AF-S. Make sure you have 'View-Image Viewer Options-Show Focus Point' ticked.
