Violet Webcap

Fungi are a mystery to me even though I always try to identify the species I photograph. Although some are really easy to idntify, there's just too darn much variability in many species so I'm often not sure just which one they may be -- that's why, with only a few exceptions, I won't eat wild mushrooms. In any case, here are the gills of one called violet webcap -- I think.
