I don't typically find American Coots to be terribly photogenic, but this one gave a walk on water kind of performance.

Agree they are not highly photgenic but they are fun to watch on take-off and landing. Nice capture!

I love it. What a prefect shot of this wonderful bird. The reflection with the water droplets and his big feet are classic.

I think coots are cool critters. They look like they were assembled by a committee.
