Really nice shots of the little guys! The “stints” closely resemble “sanderlings” we have on the east coast in Virginia and North Carolina.

The low angle is really a deception, the walking birds are/were not easy to get very close to. Are they ever without a long wait?
I walk along the road about 15 metres (~50ft) from the waters edge.
Stand where I can see through the vegetation down the slope of the shore and with a longish lens - BBF - press shutter button = low angle image.
