I have been able to photograph Western Grebes at a distance, but last week was finally close enough to get images that provide a more detailed view. I'm guessing there were something like 60 Western Grebes off the beach in the area where I was photographing, some much closer than others. The first three images are from last weekend, while the others are from various other times at a different location.
