Western Meadowlark

During a recent work trip I spent a couple hours in a local state park after work. I saw a bunch of Western Meadowlarks around and I was even able to grab some photos of one in flight!

Thoughts on which photo is best, photo 1 (wings down) vs photo 2 (wings up)? I think I prefer down.

Also, what about photo 3 vs photo 4? Originally I took photo 4 first, then thought I'd try to line up the bird with the lighter background by changing my height and got photo 3. I can't decide which I like better, thanks!

That’s the same bird I captured flight shots of in photos 1 and 2. I waited there thinking he would take off eventually and was rewarded for my patience!
