A western screech owl taken in two different holes recently. He/she was very photogenic and also not afraid at all. One hole was next to the road and the other was on a popular trail. I bet ricardo00 knows where this is!

Great catch, and I suspect these were photographed in the dark, we have one nesting nearby, in an similar environment, seems to come out in the dark more ( long exposures and if they move, oh well) and I hopefully get lucky
