Knee deep in DIY remodel on the house. Haven't had time to shoot much photography for the past two months. Tonight I went out and found the WSO. Pretty sure this is the female (the male is usually closer to my house). Hopefully there are babies in the picture soon. I have looked at this cavity dozens of times thinking for all practical purposes it is a perfect nest site. Yesterday I saw the crows get a little pissy nearby, so tonight I went and waited. She popped right out of the hole when the male started calling on the hill above us.
