Sorry, Elsa. This is the only image of any type of kite that I ever managed to get. I am hoping that on one of my trips down to Florida in the USA in the near future, I will be able to get an image of a snail kite. Those kites live mainly on large snails that they catch in the marshes. There might be an image of one of those on Backcountry Gallery Forums, otherwise Google will also help.
And we could do with snail kites here too!

Unfortunately, no. Seeing them has been somewhat of a rarity and I've never been lucky enough to capture a shot of one. I hope to add a shot one day, they're beautiful birds.
Thank you! I took it near Deland, Florida. They visit us from Argentina and Brazil each year from about March until August. Before they fly south they roost together in large numbers. If you can get to the areas where they roost (mostly very remote areas) you can see some of them come down for a drink before their
