White-bellied Sea Eagle juvenile. One of Australia's largest birds, the adult female can grow a 2.2m/7ft wingspan. Junior here will turn all black and white as it matures.
Taken with my Z8 and firmware 2.0. I've assigned the stepping through of AF areas to joystick presses which is very useful.
The 600 PF lens does a slightly less clinical rendering of plumage than my Sony 400/2.8 and I like that. Here it was used with a 1.4xTC. Uncropped.
