Using the new Sigma 500 Sport lens on my Sony. An A+ lens and very lightweight. I was shooting the birds roosting on the tree limbs in a low light and then this bird came flying in. I wish I had a faster lens speed, but I had only a couple secounds to get the shot.
White Egrets migrate through my area on the Mississippi river due to all the backwater areas. This particular Congregation was about 30 birds!
