I recently returned from my first visit to White Sands National Park in New Mexico. It is an amazing landscape which I enjoyed immensely and captured many photos. It is, however, somewhat challenging because the sand is truly white making it a bit difficult to capture some good shots. I did not have any fancy things like a graduated ND filter so did the best I could with what I had. The panorama was seven shots composited. The detail will be lost at this resolution, but the view was exquisite. The sunset chose not to cooperate as much as I would have liked wither. Now, we need to go back and try again.
I am working on the IR photos and will post a few of those in the coming days.
