On my first outing with my new 800mm i got lucky with some white tailed eagles. They are rare in my location and often stay far out to sea so it was a stroke of good luck that they came close today. An amazing experience. Both images are heavy crops. The first is about 60% the second is a very big 80% crop.

A juvenile eagle spotted me from afar and to my luck, came close to inspect.

This mature eagle was roaming out on the sandbanks a bit out from the coast. Every bird in its vicinity panicked and fled, while it soared past.
