Was out at the watering hole back in early September and while photographing some more common shorebirds, 5 Wilsons Snipes flew in and proceeding to eat and preen.

None of them ever got too close to me, but I still enjoyed watching them. Photo is cropped some.

Thanks, I lay on my stomach and the lens is at ground level so it helps make the atmosphere look a lot more pleasing than it actually is haha
