I have been using a bean bag over the window for quite a while but I found that the bean bag is difficult when trying to get shots of moving and really moving subjects.

I need something that can move the camera quickly and still keep the camera and lens very steady. Use it a lot for sage grouse Leks. They move around quickly.

I put a Flexshooter mini on a beanbag over the window frame. Works great for large lenses, even a 600E; lots of mobility.

I just use a RolanPro bean bag style that straddles the door. They recommend the buckwheat hulls to fill it but I find getting a large bag of rice works better for me and it WAY cheaper than the buckwheat
