My wife was checking out our garden for the resident Blue Tongue Lizard lounging in the sun.
No Blue Tongue but she found this Wolf Spider in a hole in the ground (with trapdoor lid) with lots of young.

What a discovery. It must be impressive to come across this type of visitor 😵‍💫
Yes it is great to find these in the garden.
Usually there is at least one hole with a resident in the garden but this one having with a new generation is more exciting than normal.
I went out to check it again and the lid has been closed, the sun was directly shining on the area.
Will check out the area for the next few days and see what I can record.
