Excellent portrait, too bad there's so much space behind the bird and not much in front.
Beautiful male Wood Duck. Very nice pose in great light. I'd second Woody's thought above and maybe crop to a 5:4 aspect ratio to remove a bit of negative space behind the duck. But really either way it's a very nice image!

Thanks for all the positive feedback.
Your suggestion and Woody's was a good one. I subconsciously noticed this but the conscious thought to do something about it never emerged. Now the duck is properly centred to my eye.
